01 Overview

Vanity Studio LLC is a private day spa and skin studio based in Burbank, California, offering facials and skin rejuvenation, advanced skin treatments, waxing and hair removal, and body & wellness services. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your personal information with care.

This policy applies to information we collect through the Site and through direct communications with us — for example, when you submit an appointment request, ask a question, or share details about your skin so we can prepare for a treatment. It does not apply to third-party services we may link to, which operate under their own privacy policies.

By using the Site or contacting us, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

02 Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you interact with us:

Information you provide

  • Contact & appointment details. Your name, email address, phone number, the treatment you’re interested in, preferred times, and any message you include when you submit our form or contact us.
  • Treatment & skin information. If you choose to share it, information relevant to your appointment — such as skin concerns, goals, sensitivities, or other details you provide so we can tailor your treatment safely. Please share only what you’re comfortable providing through the Site, and avoid sending sensitive medical details by email.
  • Booking & payment information. If you book or pay, your appointment details are processed through our scheduling and payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & usage data. Such as your browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits.
  • Cookies & similar technologies. Used to operate the Site and, where applicable, understand how it is used. See Cookies & tracking.

You are not required to provide personal information to browse the Site. If you choose not to provide certain details, we may be unable to schedule or prepare for your appointment.

03 How we use information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about appointments, treatments, scheduling, and availability.
  • To prepare for and provide your treatments safely, and to personalize your experience and recommendations.
  • To process bookings and payments through our service providers.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our day-to-day operations.
  • To send appointment reminders or, where you have agreed, occasional updates and offers (you can opt out at any time).
  • To comply with legal obligations and to protect the rights, safety, and property of Vanity Studio, our clients, and others.

04 Cookies & tracking

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember preferences, and — where applicable — measure general usage so we can improve it.

  • Essential cookies are necessary for the Site to function and cannot be switched off in our systems.
  • Analytics cookies, if used, help us understand how visitors use the Site on an aggregated basis.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, although some features of the Site may not work as intended without them.

Global Privacy Control. Where required by law, we treat recognized browser-based opt-out signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device that sends them.

05 How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the limited circumstances below:

  • Service providers. Trusted vendors who perform services on our behalf — for example, online scheduling and booking, payment processing, website hosting, email and communications, and analytics — and who are permitted to use the information only to provide those services.
  • Legal & safety. When we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vanity Studio, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your direction or consent. When you ask us to share information or otherwise agree to it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.

06 Third-party links & services

The Site may link to third-party services, such as an online booking platform, a payment page, social media, or review sites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party service you visit.

07 Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, to respond to your inquiry, manage your appointments and treatment history, maintain our business records, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it.

08 Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09 Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. In particular, if you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), provides the following rights:

  • Right to know / access. To request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to delete. To request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to correct. To request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to opt out. To opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As noted above, we do not sell or share personal information.
  • Right to limit sensitive information. To limit the use of sensitive personal information in certain cases. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted under applicable law.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Residents of other jurisdictions may have similar rights under their local laws. We will honor applicable rights as required.

10 Exercising your rights

To exercise any of the rights described above, contact us at info@vanitystudiohealth.com using the details in Contact us. Please tell us which right you wish to exercise and include enough information for us to locate your records.

For your protection, we may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will only use the information you provide to verify and process your request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

11 Children’s privacy

The Site and our services are intended for adults, and the Site is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12 International visitors

We operate from the United States, and the Site is hosted and managed there. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

13 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to provide additional notice as appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
